Starting March 1, burning bans will be in effect in Berkeley County, West Virginia, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Residents planning to start a brush fire should contact the Berkeley County 911 Center using the business line at 304-263-1330 before proceeding. Extra precautions are advised due to current drought conditions.
